The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation and the National Park Service are thrilled to welcome renowned historian and musician, Bobby Horton, as he presents “Songs & Stories of the Civil War” on May 8, 2012 at 7pm in the Historic SCH Auditorium.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation is delighted to welcome classical guitarist, Michael Patilla, in a special concert in the historic SCH Auditorium. The concert will be held on Friday, March 30th at 6:00pm.

The National Park Service has awarded the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation a grant to organize and sponsor a year-long celebration to honor the spirit and works of Vicksburg nature artist, Hobbs Freeman.

The SCHF promises this race will be one of the biggest. This event welcomes hundreds to the City of Vicksburg and will serve as a wonderful family event. It will take place on October 8th at 8:00am and begins at the Old Mississippi River Bridge.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation (SCHF) of Vicksburg has been awarded a $17,800 grant from the Mississippi Arts Commission (MAC). This grant is a portion of the $1.5 million in grants the Commission will award in 2011-2012.

This exhibition is organized by the Mississippi Museum of Art. The exhibit will open in the Academy Building on Tuesday, July 5th with a reception from 4:00pm-6:00pm. The exhibit will continue until August 5th during regular business hours.

The SCHF takes immense pride in welcoming acclaimed international speaker, corporate entertainer, and Brandon, Mississippi native Joe M. Turner back to his home state for a one-night-only, one-of-a-kind theatrical performance on Thursday, July 18.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation (SCHF) is thrilled to welcome the Delta Mountain Blues Boys as they present a special concert in the historic Southern Cultural Heritage Auditorium on Friday, July 22 from 7:00pm-10:30pm.

The Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation (SCHF) is proud to host “Dancing the Blues”, the spring performance of the Vicksburg Performing Arts Company (VPAC). The performance will be held on April 8 and 9 at 7:30pm in the SCH Auditorium.
