The Race For Gold LLC announces that it has partnered with American Iron TV Productions LLC to produce a Minelab Americas sponsored Civil War relic hunting series. The series focuses on responsible relic recovery using Minelab technology.

Three competition teams will set out in an unparalleled 28-day challenge to locate and recover gold during The Race For Gold: Year One – Eastern United States. These teams will be branded with fan-chosen names.

The Race For Gold LLC has activated the online voting form which fans can use to submit their votes for the most popular competition Team Names. Voting ends at midnight on February 14, 2011.
