Major International Recognition for The Bogside Artists of Derry, N.Ireland.

The Bogside Artists of Derry send up The Turner Prize that is being hosted this year in their home town of Derry, Northern Ireland.

The Bogside Artists challenge the committee of England's Turner Prize saying "you cannot claim to support freedom of expression while supporting the outright state-controlled suppression of the Bogside Artists." (The Bogside Artists)

Against all the odds The Bogside Artists have opened their new studio/gallery in Derry, Northern Ireland.

The Derry City council has at last voted to put up signs for visitors to find the world famous The People's Gallery created by The Bogside Artists.

The Bogside Artists' have been unanimously pledged financial help to refurbish the iconic murals of The People' Gallery in the Bogside Derry. These, the most famous murals in Ireland were painted by the three artists.

The Bogside Artists, despite the refusal of the Derry City Council to help with funding, have restored their famous Peace Mural at their own expense. Here they explain the incredible behaviour of their own council towards themselves and their work.
