The sixth annual Festival of Trees, held in Fort Myers by Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida, shattered its event fundraising record in 2012. The Festival of Trees and Tux & Trees Gala combined to raise $95,000 to support Goodwill's mission.

The River District Alliances' "It's a Wonderful Life," adorned with bubble lights and tinsel, was the crowd favorite at the Goodwill Festival of Trees in Fort Myers. Other award winners were Camp-Rigby Roofing-Sheetmetal, CenturyLink, and ProFiles.

Goodwill's fifth annual Festival of Trees in Fort Myers had more than 5,500 visitors in 2011, a thousand more visitors than in 2010. Guests visited from across the state of Florida, as well as from 38 other states and 11 foreign countries.

Guests at the fifth annual Tux & Trees Gala will have the opportunity to purchase a signature cocktail: "Treesome" created by Fort Myers' Spirits of Bacchus. The winner was chosen at the Festival of Trees sponsor party, the "Jingle Mingle."
