CALLING ALL POETS!!!  UVU is looking for poets to participate in a Social Justice Poetry Slam. This is an open call!! The Poetry Slam is scheduled for Saturday April 26, 2014 at 7:00pm at Coast 101 Cafe.  All spoken word artist are welcome.

UVU announced today it is hosting a Community Forum on the Deferred Action Program.

UVU announced today its plans for a Cesar Chavez Day March. Cesar Chavez was a civil rights and farm labor leader. He was a community organizer and is an icon to the Hispanic community.

Una Voz Unida needs the name of your soldier to be honored at a special event during Hispanic Heritage month. Una Voz Unida would like to recognize the contributions Hispanics have made to our country while serving in the armed forces. Overall,

The Odessa Civic Engagement Project will be hosting “Understanding City Government” on August 16th, 17th, & 18th at 6 pm, at Odessa City Council Chambers.

UVU PAC has endorsed candidates for City of Odessa Council races and ECISD Trustee races.

UVUPAC has scheduled a candidate forum for local elections. Forum is open to all local candidates and is open to public.
