Vermont Academy's boys' varsity basketball team made school history on Sunday, March 6 by winning the Academy's first New England Prep School Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) Class AA title, defeating Cushing Academy 69 - 61.

Arthur Kelton, Jr. of Vail, Colorado received Vermont Academy’s Florence Sabin Distinguished Alumni Award on Friday, September 28, as part of the Academy’s 2012 Reunion Weekend. Kelton is a real estate developer and philanthropist.
