Triangle Parade of Homes Kicks off this Saturday for Next Three Weekends

The 48th Annual Parade of Homes, N.C.’s largest open house presented by the Home Builders Association of Raleigh–Wake County, will run October 5-6, 11-13, 18-20, from 12-5 p.m. This free tour of new homes will feature 190 homes.

Home builders donated around 12,000 meals to the Food Bank of Central & Eastern North Carolina this September. The event, Build Against Hunger sponsored by Stock Building Supply, showcased structures made entirely out of canned food.

13 contractors passed the limited lead-based paint renovation class to renovate homes and child-occupied facilities built before 1978. These 13 will meet the new lead paint regulations required for contractors by April 2010.
