Study shows that couples are, on average, underinsuring their weddings by around £5,000 or 30% of their total wedding budget.

Despite financial pressures the average wedding in the UK still costs around £20,000, although many couples are ignoring the danger represented by service providers still suffering from the recession.

New figures suggest that couples are becoming increasingly conscious of the costs involved of planning a wedding, with wedding insurance playing a more important role than ever.
