Work Hard - Work Smart

The Work Hard – Work Smart Initiative has been recognized as one of 111 Bright Idea innovative government initiatives by the Harvard University Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation.

(WICHITA FALLS) September 7, 2012 -- The Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry once again received the Wagner-Peyser grant from the Texas Workforce Commission for its Work Hard-Work Smart program.

The Work Hard-Work Smart initiative, spearheaded by the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, will be sponsoring a Job Fair on May 1st, 2012. The Job Fair will take place at Sikes Senter Mall from 1:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m.

Work Hard - Work Smart with the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce & Industry announces over 50 employers have signed the Letter of Commitment considering the National Career Readiness Certificate during the interview process.

WICHITA FALLS (Aug. 27, 2011) – The Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry announced Teea Rogers will be appointed to the position of Work Hard-Work Smart Director.

Work Hard – Work Smart, a certifying work-readiness initiative of the Wichita Falls Chamber of Commerce and Industry, has been awarded $241,000 Wagner-Peyser Grant.
