The statement concluded that Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah are the best states for building environmentally sound, utility-scale solar energy production sites.

During a time of historic economic and workforce downturn, the necessity for people entering the solar energy industry is in high demand.

The optimism of solar employers in the midst of these conditions illustrates that job growth should continue for years to come.

By August 2011, there should be almost 120,000 solar energy-related jobs, and in order to get into the workforce, on-site solar training is required.

To become solar sales professionals or solar photovoltaic (PV) installers, solar certification training courses must be completed in order to be a part of the skilled workforce.

To be a part of the clean energy economy, workers need to have schooling in solar energy.

The analysis concluded that the states of Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico and Utah are the most suitable for environmentally sound, utility-scale solar energy production.

The initiatives announced today are putting the Recovery Through Retrofit report's recommendations into action- giving American families the tools they need to invest in home energy upgrades.
