Heywood Hospital honors medical staff for their commitment to their patients and the Greater Gardner community during their annual Physician Recognition Event.

Heywood Hospital is putting on a FREE Diabetes Health Fair at Mount Wachusett Community College on Tuesday, October 16th. The fair will run from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the North and South Cafeterias on the MWCC campus.

Heywood Hospital in Gardner, MA, held its Golf Classic on June 18th at the Oak Hill Country Club in Fitchburg, raising $101,550 toward the establishment of the Diabetes Center of Excellence at the hospital.

Heywood Hospital of Gardner, MA was honored with an “A” Hospital Safety Score by The Leapfrog Group. The score was calculated by an expert panel using publicly available data on patient injuries, medical and medication errors, and infections.

On Wednesday, April 4th, Boston Medical Center’s – Center for Voice and Swallowing is celebrating World Voice Day and voice health with a day of free screenings and a seminar open to the public.
