AXT have been appointed Lyncean Technologies exclusive distributor for Australia and New Zealand. Lyncean manufacture the Compact Light Source, a miniature synchrotron that also produces high brilliance radiation suited to high-end research.

AXT is excited to bring another unique technology to Australia and NZ. The Nanoimager from Oxford Nanoimaging is a super resolution single molecule microscope suited to biological applications.

AXT have recently installed a TESCAN VEGA SEM at the QIMR Berghofer Medical Research Institute. This is the first TESCAN SEM installation that will be used exclusively for life science applications such as research into cancer & infectious diseases.

AXT has recently been appointed the Australian and New Zealand distributor for Magnetic Insight. They manufacture breakthrough Magnetic particle Imaging (MPI) systems that will benefit medical researchers working in oncology, vascular function etc.

AXT are proud to announce that they have teamed up with SciAps and will be distributing their range of industry leading handheld XRF's and LIBS devices.

QUT has recently purchased a TESCAN MIRA3 FEG-SEM (Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscope) and Thermo Scientific UltraDry EDS (Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy) system from AXT.

Curtin University have been carrying out world-leading research into geochronology. Much of this work has been successful thanks to quality sample preparation carried by Dr. Tanya Claridge and the SelFrag Lab high voltage pulsed power fragmenter.

The Central Analytical Research Facility (CARF) at QUT have just installed a pair of Rigaku X-ray diffractometers (XRD). These instruments will cater for the high routine and research and share attachments to extend their capabilities.

University of Sydney researchers are using the Nanolive 3D Cell Explorer to investigate the toxicity of nanoparticles. Using tomographic microscopy they are now able to see in real time the effects of these nano-sized particulates.

AXT have just commissioned another Rigaku 9kW SmartLab X-Ray Diffractometer (XRD) at CSIRO Adelaide. It will be used primarily for characterisation of minerals, geological materials and clays.
