AXT announced that they will be installing the first onsite SEM-based minerals analysis system in Australia at Northparkes Mines. The copper & gold mine is located near the town of Parkes in central west NSW & will be used for production optimisation

AXT, a leading provider of scientific and analytical solutions is pleased to announce that they have been appointed as a distributor for NT-MDT. NT-MDT are one of the foremost developers and manufacturers of atomic force microscopes (AFM).

AXT are adding the product lines of TriFoil Imaging to their recently established Preclinical Imaging portfolio. This includes a range of multi-modality imaging systems suited to translational medicine.

AXT have become distributors for MR Solutions who are responsible for the development of the world’s first range of commercial, superconducting, cryogen-free (no liquid helium required) MRI systems up to 7 Tesla suited to in vivo investigations.

The University of Queensland have recently ordered a high powered x-ray diffractometer from AXT. The 9kW Rigaku SmartLab features a rotating anode generator and the system has been optimised for thin film analysis and other applications.

AXT have extended their involvement with Rigaku now offering their range of thermal analysis products. These include DSC, DTA/TG with EGA, TMA and dilatometers. They have been used extensively in Japan and are now available in Australia.

AXT Pty Ltd has recently completed the commissioning of a TESCAN Integrated Minerals Analyser (TIMA) in Perth with the CSIRO’s Mineral Resources Flagship. The TIMA is an automated solution for providing mineralogical analyses of geological samples.

AXT, Australia's leading supplier of high technology scientific equipment has recently been appointed a distributor of Thermo Fisher Scientific's surface analysis and microanalysis product ranges covering both sales and service.

AXT has won the tender to provide a TESCAN Integrated Minerals Analyser (TIMA) to Curtin University in Western Australia. The system is based on scanning electron microscopy and allows automated mineralogical analysis. It is their second TESCAN SEM.

AXT have won a bid to supply the Mawson Institute at the University of South Australia with a Rigaku D/Max Rapid II Dual Wavelength Micro X-Ray Diffractometer.This will be the most advanced lab-based micro diffractometer when installed in October.
