GARDEN CITY, NY, September 2015—Accomplished musician and educator Naomi Katz Cohen will take you on a musical journey celebrating songs and dances from the Jewish tradition.

On Saturday, October 17, 2015, the American Academy of Nursing will recognize 163 nurse leaders to be inducted as Academy fellows at its annual policy conference, Transforming Health, Driving Policy, in Washington, D.C. Jane H.

The program will consist of classics such as George Gershwin’s jazz-inspired Three Preludes as well as modern day compositions like John Leszczynski’s Variations in the Reeds.

Adelphi University will host National Book Award–winning author James McBride on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at 7:00 p.m. in its Thomas Dixon Lovely Ballroom in the Ruth S. Harley University Center.

The exhibition will be on view from September 29 through November 11, 2015.
