Adelphi University Exhibition Program proudly presents its annual Art Faculty Exhibition featuring works by eight art and art education faculty members. The exhibition highlights an exceptional selection of both two and three-dimensional work.

Long Island’s premiere destination for the arts, the Adelphi University Performing Arts Center (AUPAC), will celebrate its 5th anniversary season. The 2012—2013 season features the greatest entertainers and legends in music, dance, and theatre.

Ruth S. Ammon School of Education Professor Devin Thornburg was honored for his dedication to the students and Adelphi University community at a ceremony hosted by the Adelphi chapter of the educational honor society, Phi Delta Kappa.

‘Dance Adelphi Spring: Ephemeral Diversions,' is scheduled to take place on Thursday, April 26 and Friday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, April 28, at 2:00 p.m., 8:00 p.m. and Sunday, April 29, at 2:00 p.m., in the Olmsted Theatre of the AUPAC.

Adelphi University Department of History will hold its 39th Annual Adelphi History Conference featuring Bancroft and Pulitzer Prize-winner Dr. Eric Foner.

Adelphi University will once again have the honor of serving as a “take back” site on National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 28, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

"One Water," a film about the changing relationship between people and water as this needed natural resource becomes more scarce, will be screened at Adelphi on April 18 at 6 p.m. A panel discussion with the filmmakers will be held at a 4 p.m.

Adelphi University has elected Jeffrey Bolton ’61 as the newest member of the Board of Trustees. He is to serve on the Academic Affairs Committee, Finance and Administration Committee and Investment Committee.
