For almost four years, Adopt An Inmate operated a website made possible by the donations of Washington State inmates seeking to help other inmates across the United States.

Washington Prisoner Donations Help Fund Website For Growing Non-Profit

The idea for Adopt an Inmate came during an unexpected stay in a Texas county jail, when family members struggled to navigate the system in order to advocate for their loved one, and saw first-hand what all inmates face during incarceration.
