Ahead of its first Open Day of 2023 on Sunday 7 May, Remus Horse Sanctuary based in Essex, is launching its 40th Anniversary Challenge to raise £40,000 during the remainder of the year.

Remus Horse Sanctuary is thrilled be taking part in this year's #GivingTuesday campaign on 29 November. This Giving Tuesday 2022, Remus are fundraising to carry out necessary repairs to their perimeter fencing which protects the animals.

With household budgets being stretched, Sue Burton, founder of Remus Horse Sanctuary is asking supporters and donors not to forget about them or their horses this winter.

Join the animals and humans for their last Open Day of the 2022 season and celebrate World Animal Day with them on Sunday 2 October from 1pm to 5pm.

Remus Horse Sanctuary will be opening its gates on Sunday 4 September to welcome members of the public for its fun Dog Show and Family Day from 1pm to 5pm. The Dog Show will commence at 2pm with bookings being taken from 1.30pm.

Remus Horse Sanctuary will be opening its gates to visitors on Sunday 7 August from 1pm to 5pm for one of its summer Open Days. Visitors will be able to meet special guest Mickey Mouse, who will be visiting the charity during the afternoon.

Remus Horse Sanctuary will be opening its gates on Sunday 3 July to welcome members of the public for its fun Dog Show and Family Day from 1pm to 5pm. The Dog Show will commence at 2pm with bookings being taken from 1.30pm.
