Androscoggin Bank today announced that AndroscogginTrust, a division of Androscoggin Bank, will provide free Financial Power of Attorney for active-duty, deployed soldiers in all branches of the military.

Androscoggin Bank is sponsoring the 9th annual LL Bean Camp Sunshine Pumpkin Festival on 10/29 in Freeport, ME. Support Camp Sunshine by purchasing a $1 paper pumpkin or $5 pumpkin patches at any of the Bank’s 13 branch locations throughout Maine.

Androscoggin Bank has announced that the Bank has established a 46-person employee team to take part in the annual Dempsey Challenge on October 8 and 9 in Lewiston, Maine. As of October 5, 2011 more than $12,000 has been raised by this year’s team.

Androscoggin Bank today announced Barry L. Kohler, JD, CFP®, CLU has joined the AndroscogginTrust team as SVP and Director of Trust & Investment Services. He will oversee the financial planning, trust and investment services and brokerage areas.

Androscoggin Bank is hosting this season’s fifth and final exhibit for Art Walk Lewiston Auburn. The fifth exhibit, “Mobile Natura: Botanical iPhoneography,” will feature the work of local artist Kimberly Post Rowe.

Androscoggin Bank announced that the Bank is now accepting applications for MainStreet Foundation grants. These grants are provided for local organizations that support the projects, programs and initiatives that ensure the welfare of at-risk youth.

Androscoggin Bank announces their participation in the national “Lights, Camera, Save!” competition, encouraging youth to use video to communicate the value of saving and inspire others to become lifelong savers.

“Discovering Prints” will be on display in the lobby of Androscoggin Bank’s Lewiston branch from August 25 to September 27, 2011. A public reception to launch the new exhibit will take place from 5:00 pm to 8:30 pm on Friday, August 26.

Androscoggin Bank has named the recipients of eight grants and two donations as a part of the ABCommunity grant program. The awarded grants total $17,000 and benefit non-profit organizations throughout Maine.
