Kristina Monroe writes of a world balanced by natural beauty and lore. She has run with the humans, and danced with the butterflies.

She finds them everywhere - in history, art, religion, industry, her own back porch. She is awed by them, delighted by them, saddened by them and by our misunderstanding of them.

Kumar Kamal is a poet of Bangladeshi origin, preferring to write under the pen name of Ujjol Kamal. The word Ujjol in Bengali means bright. Born in Dhaka, Bangladesh, he emigrated to the US in 1997 where he is presently a resident of New Jersey.

If this world would have been sufficiently mature to give birth to an anti-war prophet, this collection would have certainly ranked high in such a prophet’s sources of inspiration.
