Angela Nowak, a mother from Wadsworth, OH, is the recipient of a Project Working Mom 2010. Park will pursue an Early Childhood Education Associate Degree Program at Ashworth College, an accredited online institution.

Haydee Pelayo, a mother from Hayward, CA, is the recipient of a Project Working Mom 2010 full-tuition scholarship and will pursue a Professional Child Care Skills Program at Ashworth College, an accredited online institution.

Stephanie Park, a mother from Vancouver, WA, is the recipient of a Project Working Mom 2010 full-tuition scholarship for Ashworth College, an accredited online institution. Park plans to use her education to become an advocate for senior citizens.

Ashworth College’s on-going community outreach program kicks off its latest fundraising effort, Great American Bake Sale, in support of Share Our Strength, a national initiative to help fight hunger among American youth.

Ashworth College has added a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Education to its roster of online degree programs. The accredited curriculum will give students in-depth instruction in educating children from newborn to age eight.

Distance education leader Ashworth College is partnering with “Project Working Mom 2010” to award 25 full-tuition scholarships. Ashworth is one of eight accredited online schools participating in the program to award nearly 285 scholarships.

Hialeah, FL resident Betsy Marotto is the recipient of a full-tuition scholarship to pursue her online degree with Ashworth College. Her essay was selected from nearly 300,000 applicants applying for a Career Stimulus Package Scholarship.

Ashworth College grad, Didiayer Snyder has been presented with a certificate of recognition from the Distance Education and Training Council. DETC annually recognizes distance education graduates having achieved celebrity within their career field.

Ashworth College grad Ervisa Ritt has been named 2010 Outstanding Graduate and presented with a certificate of recognition from the Distance Education and Training Council. Ritt is among 45 graduates to be recognized.
