Valerie Walden added a second gallery to her Austin-area representation by signing with Adams Galleries in Lakeway. Adams specializes in larger-sized artwork by local and emerging artists for home and commercial installations.

As a featured artist in the fourth annual West Austin Studio Tour (WEST), Valerie Walden will be holding plein air painting demonstrations at Capital Fine Arts gallery on some of the four tour dates. Some of the paintings will be available for sale.

Valerie Walden now has some of her latest artwork available for viewing and sale at Capital Fine Art Gallery in Austin, Texas.

Artist Valerie Walden super-sized her work to five foot by ten foot dimensions this fall. The painting was actually a mural commissioned by a patron for a private wine tasting room adjacent to a wine cellar.

Austin Art Space announced the selection of 52 works of art for its 6th annual For the Love of ART show running Feb. 11- Mar.5, 2011. The juror this year was Dr. Christopher Adejumo, of the University of Texas at Austin.

Austin Art Space officially opened submissions for the 6th Annual ‘For the Love of Art” Juried Exhibit. The entry deadline is Tuesday, Jan. 18, 2011. The exhibit runs Feb. 11-Mar. 5, 2011. Artists’ Reception, Saturday, Feb. 12 from 6:00-9:00pm.

Austin Art Space hosts the 6th Annual “12buy12” Exhibit. The Nov. 20 Artists Reception kicks-off run through Dec. 18, 2010. The traditional juried event features art no larger than 12 inches by 12 inches. This year's juror was Carl McQueary.

Two very different paintings by Valerie Walden will be included in the Fall 2010 Annual Austin Pastel Society Member Exhibition. The exhibition runs November 2-29, 2010 at the North Hills Gallery in Austin.
