On Sunday, April 17, 2011, the Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra (BBSO) will celebrate the end of its 36th season with a fundraiser dinner event titled “From the Old," honoring Chairman of the Board, Richard Tropea for 20 years.

Join the BBSO for an evening of cultural experiences for the eyes, ears and palettes from around the world. Beginning with a dinner benefit "From the Old World" followed by a performance of "The New World," music inspired from and about America.

BBSO concludes its concert season "For the Love of Music," with benefit concert featuring a special guest performance by violist and BBSO 2011 Young Artist String Competition Winner Abigail Elder.

BBSO Hosts 2011 String Concerto Competition for 9TH - 12TH Grade Michigan Students Deadline March 4th.

On February 13, 2011, Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra (BBSO) principal violist, Hart Hollman will present his collection of photographs at the BBSO concert A French Valentine at Temple Israel at 7:00 p.m.

On February 13, 2011 at 7pm, the Birmingham-Bloomfield Symphony Orchestra (BBSO) will present an evening of French music featuring guest conductor, John Thomas Dodson, and guest soloist, violinist Caroline Goulding.
