Bakwa Books

Comfort Mussa, the multi-award-winning Cameroonian journalist and gender and disability rights advocate, will publish her debut novella with Bakwa Books in August 2026.

Mwalimu Johnnie MacViban (The Makuru Alternative, A Ripple from Abakwa) will publish his first novel in thirteen years. The novel, which will be published in August 2021by Bakwa Books is part neo-noir, part political novel and part postmodern romp.
