Tracy Betts, CEO of Balance Interactive was the keynote speaker at November's Luncheon of Networking Executive Women. Her presentation, “Leading in a Women's World” explored insights to help business leaders develop a holistic work environment.

Balance Interactive has increased its Drupal expertise with the addition of Lynn Taylor to the team. Taylor has been a software engineer for more than 10 years and specializes in open source technologies Drupal, Linux, Apache, MySQL and PHP (LAMP).

Rich Wolford has joined the Balance Interactive team as account executive. Wolford brings more than 20 years of experience as a marketing and business development professional to the role.

Balance Interactive has launched a Drupal 7 website for the Forum for Youth Investment website Ready by 21®. TheForum for Youth Investment helps communities improve the odds that children and youth will be ready for college, work and life.

Tom Cochran, director of new media technologies for the Executive Office of the President, will be the keynote speaker at Drupal for Associations on December 9. DC-based association executives will gather at the Ronald Reagan Building.

Balance Interactive is sponsoring The Power of Drupal in DC. The half day seminar will be held on November 3 and is presented by Acquia. The focus will be on the Drupal open source content management system.

Idealware released an updated version of the Nonprofit Social Media Decision Guide. Balance Interactive sponsored the update, which is a valuable resource for associations and nonprofits as they seek to effectively communicate through social media.

Association executives will gather on December 9, 2011 to discuss one of the most promising website development tools available today – the Drupal content management system.

Balance Interactive will work with The American Network of Community Options and Resources (ANCOR) on a full redesign of the organization’s website. The site will use the Drupal open source content management system.
