TEP's Bite of Science is a professional development event for teachers and will feature Dr. Robert Kernstock, Principal Scientist, Astellas Pharma, and Dr. Douglas Sisterson, ARM Climate Research Facility, Argonne National Laboratory.

CEE's Bite of Science dinner provides teachers with the exclusive opportunity to learn classroom science pedagogy from scientists and engineers from corporate, industry, academia, and government.

The Center for Excellence in Education's Bite of Science fosters professional development in teachers to create an interest for students in STEM Fields.

CEE and Pasquale Trucking Company, Inc. Host Bite of Science to Strengthen Science Teaching. The Bite of Science dinner event brings together teachers with scientists and engineers from industry, academia, and government.

Bite of Science will bring together high school science and humanities teachers to learn how to connect research to their classrooms. Teachers will meet Dr. Alessandra Luchini, George Mason University and Michael Frachel, Micron Technology, Inc.

The S-RSI program was developed in 2010 as a partnership between CEE, Saudi Aramco, King Abdulaziz & His Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity (MAWHIBA), and King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

CEE has contributed to the scientific leadership of this country since it’s founding in 1983 by the late Admiral H.G. Rickover, the father of the nuclear navy and civilian uses of nuclear power, and Joann DiGennaro, President.

The USABO concentrates on stimulating young scholars’ intellectual curiosity and developing critical thinking skills in biological reasoning, and culminates with the U.S. Team’s participation in the IBO. The USABO is sponsored by CEE and Purdue.

CEE’s Research Science Institute (RSI) was inaugurated in 1984, and is offered in partnership with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). RSI is a six week summer enrichment program that emphasizes advanced theory and research in STEM.

In 2002, the Center developed and implemented the first-ever USA Biology Olympiad (USABO) to train future leaders in the biological sciences. The USABO is jointly sponsored with Purdue University. CEE and Purdue Announce Team USA 2012.
