Connecticut State Grange

Games such as the egg toss and kickball were enjoyed as the Connecticut and Rhode Island State Granges co-hosted an Old-Fashioned Grange Picnic as part of National Grange Nationwide Gathering Celebration held on July 16, 2011.

The Connecticut State Grange is proud to announce that Connecticut's Youth Drill Team has taken First Place honors at the National Grange Drill Team Competition held July 10 at the Northeastern Grange Youth Conference.

A large crowd was in attendance for fellowship, good food and fun at the Connecticut State Grange's fourth annual Let's Celebrate Day. The family-oriented event was held June 12 at centrally-located Cheshire Grange Hall in Cheshire.

The fourth annual Connecticut State Grange Let's Celebrate Day will be held June 12 at Cheshire Grange Hall, 44 Wallingford Rd. (one block east of the Town Hall), Cheshire. The Hall will open at 10:00 AM for viewing entries.

The 125th Anniversary of the Connecticut State Grange has been formally recognized by Connecticut Governor Dannel P. Malloy via letter received on April 16.

Grange members and friends of the Grange from all across Connecticut laced up their bowling shoes for a good cause. Bowlers of all ages filled the lanes at Highland Bowl in Cheshire for the CT State Grange annual Bowl-A-Thon held on April 9.

Humorous videos, singing frogs, fun interactive activities and inspirational messages entertained the standing-room-only crowd at the Connecticut State Grange Rally.

April has been declared "Grange Month" by the National Grange, and Community Granges across Connecticut are taking the opportunity to showcase the organization and its purpose, programs and activities.
