Calloway's and Cornelius Nursery

Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery will host semimonthly educational gardening events at all of its locations for children ages 5-12 throughout the summer.

On Saturday, April 17 gardeners in the Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston areas can celebrate with Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery as the company hosts a storewide event featuring the Wave® Petunia.

On Saturday, April 3, Calloway’s and Cornelius Nursery will host its Spring Perennial Swap at select locations in the Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston markets.

Calloway’s Nursery was recently named one of Today’s Garden Center’s Revolutionary 100 as a top independent garden center in the United States.

Calloway’s Nursery, in conjunction with Greenleaf Nursery, announced the winner of the O2 Planting for the Future Tree Story Contest on Dec. 1, 2009.

Calloway’s Nursery won Lawn and Garden Retailer Magazine’s 2009 Merchandiser of the Year Award by receiving the most votes out of four finalists in December.

Calloway’s Nursery, with KTXA 21 News, donated a total of 1,471 pounds of fresh, organically-grown vegetables to the Denton Community Food Bank throughout the summer and fall of 2009.

This Friday Cornelius Nursery, a Calloway’s Nursery store located at 2233 S. Voss Road in Houston, will re-open its doors for business after being completely destroyed by fire in July of 2008.

Calloway’s Nursery will provide all the supplies for customers to make Christmas cards during the annual Christmas Open House event on Nov. 21 and Nov. 28 to distribute to the U.S. troops serving overseas.

Calloway’s Nursery will partner up with Carter BloodCare to host a blood drive at two locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area on Nov. 21 and Nov. 28.
