Mount Sinai South Nassau

In honor of their leadership and vision that led to the affiliation between South Nassau Communities Hospital and the Mount Sinai Health System, Joseph J. Fennessy, and Arthur Klein are the honorees of South Nassau's 'Soirée Under the Stars.

This partnership is part of South Nassau's commitment to help enhance health care services and revitalize the network of community-based physicians available for the residents.

The program was made possible by South Nassau's affiliation with the Mount Sinai Health System, which provided the 30 graduate medical education slots for use at South Nassau.

These awards place South Nassau among a select group of US hospitals — the top 5 percent of all hospitals evaluated for gynecologic procedures and the top 10 percent of hospitals evaluated for providing outstanding quality outcomes in gynecology.

The American Academy of Pediatrics has warned that too much screen time – especially in young children – can delay cognitive, language, social and emotional development and possibly be a factor in childhood obesity.

The Center is steps away from the main Oceanside hospital campus and will allow highly skilled and specially trained obstetricians The Center, located at 8 Oceanside Road in Rockville Centre, steps away from the main Oceanside hospital campus.

All net proceeds from the golf outing will benefit expansion of the hospital's Emergency Department in Oceanside, which currently serves 70,000 patients a year in a space built for 35,000 patient visits.

The donation is the largest single one of its kind the hospital received in 2017 and the largest single year gift to South Nassau by the Feil Family Foundation.
