The question is frequently posed at Carlisle Events, both in the office and onsite during shows, as to who is the next generation of automotive enthusiast. 2011 data highlights the fact that 71% of everyone who comes to Carlisle ranges between 35-55.

In 1974 a pair of friends who happen to share the same last name (Bill and Chip Miller) started a show in south central Pennsylvania.

The Carlisle Events season schedule has grown from four annual attractions in 1982 to 17 in 2013. With that expansion has come copious amounts of exposure, both nationally and internationally as well as onsite audiences, both foreign and domestic.

In August of 2012, Carlisle Events announced the launch of a new non-automotive event, the Carlisle Sports and Outdoor Nationals.

Daytona 500 winner and NASCAR Hall of Fame Driver Bobby Allison will make a Saturday only visit to the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds and the Carlisle GM Nationals in June, 2013.

Carlisle is pleased to announce the renewal of a business and sponsorship partnership with Gumout Performance Products, a brand/division of ITW Global Brands. The partnership begins with Spring Carlisle and last through the conclusion of the season.

Carlisle Events hosted Zephyrhills Winter AutoFest for the first time in the history of the event. In doing so, the weekend saw record numbers at the gates plus a strong result as part of the auction.
