Sounds more like a movie script but this week 60 kids with cancer and their siblings get to spend the night at Melbourne Museum as part of not-for-profit organisation Challenge’s week long ‘Urban Camp’.

The motocross community’s support of the KTM Ride 4 Kids event continued in strong vein this year. Over 150 riders of all disciplines enjoyed a day of dirt bike riding whilst raising funds for Challenge at the State Motorcycle Complex in Broadford.

Dads of cancer kids will attend the Melbourne Storm vs Canberra Raiders game in the Melbourne Storm corporate box at the new AAMI Park August 1st. Challenge and long time supporter Melbourne Storm, are able to make this opportunity possible.

Eight year old Aleksander, from Dandenong North, gets to run through the banner on Saturday July 17th at the MCG, with his hero’s courtesy of Challenge- supporting kids with cancer when Collingwood hosts a Biggest Aussie Pie Night for Challenge.

Over 1400 Victorian women from all walks of life will join forces to support Challenge at the 2010 Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend Gala Dinner, which sold out in just hours. We are thrilled that this year’s host is The Circle’s Gorgi Coghlan.

Challenge will bring Christmas cheer to 1600 people touched by cancer at the Challenge Christmas Party organised by the not for profit organisation this weekend.

Melbourne Football Club president Jim Stynes lent his support to Australian kids living with childhood cancer by visiting Challenge playgroup this week. Challenge plans the development of a Family Resource centre to expand their range of services.

The 2009 ‘Urban Camp’ organised by Challenge, a network that supports children and families living with cancer, offers cancer patients and their siblings from regional areas the chance to experience the bright lights of Melbourne.

Motocross riders turned out in full force to help raise much needed funds for Challenge, a network supporting children and families living with cancer by participating in the KTM Ride 4 Kids at the State Motorcycle Sports Complex in Broadford, Vic.

The Biggest Aussie Pie Night takes place throughout August to raise money for Challenge. The campaign kicks off Saturday July 18th where Collingwood and the MCG host their own Biggest Aussie Pie Night at Round 16, Collingwood v Hawthorn.
