Crystal Clear Water

Most water tanks a layer of sludge at the bottom of them made up of mud, decomposing organic matter such as fragments of leaf litter, dissolved bird poo, and lots of bacteria. Yet this is the layer the water is drawn from. It's certainly not ideal.
