The NASCAR Nationwide Series is back on track this Saturday at Michigan International Speedway. Rookie of the Year contender Blake Koch is eager to get back behind the wheel of the Daystar Television Network #81 Dodge to resume his quest of RFTY.

Blake Koch’s debut in the heart of the NASCAR country last Saturday was one that both he and the Daystar Television Network race team would like to put behind them after a motor loss in the bright pink Daystar.com dodge.

Blake Koch goes pink for Charlotte's race in hopes of raising awareness for breast cancer as well as promoting the Daystar Singers & Band’s national album release “Set Free”, that centers around inspiring hope to those that felt like giving up.

Koch finished just one spot out of the Top 20 at Iowa Speedway this weekend and earned two well respected accolades in the event, as he continues his closely contested battle for the 2011 NNS Rookie title.

Blake Koch will be participating in Hope Ministries “Make a Bed Program”, replacing the sheets and pillows of every bed in the facility. By providing this basic need, Koch hopes to positively impact lives with a message of love and compassion.

Just three years ago, Koch had never even driven a NASCAR before, now he is making a name for himself one week and one new track at a time before an audience that consists of millions. This week he takes on Iowa at the John Deere Dealers 250.

Koch gets bitten by the Monster Mile at Dover, but looks forward to racing next weekend in Iowa!

On May 14, 2011, Blake Koch will be racing the Daystar Television Network #82 Dodge at the Dover Monster Mile’s 5 Hour Energy 200.
