The Demuth Museum's first exhibition of 2018 will be our annual Invitational, showcasing the work of over thirty contemporary artists from Lancaster and the surrounding region who have been invited to exhibit new works based on a given theme.

The Demuth Museum’s annual Invitational features the work of over thirty local artists who have created works based on this year’s theme of architects.

The Demuth Museum highlights the artistic careers of the Lancaster County father and son artist duo of Vernon Kiehl Newswanger (1900-1980) and Christian Newswanger (1927-2005).

This exhibition explores the unique relationship between Charles Demuth and Georgia O’Keeffe in their common pursuit of artistic creation by looking at original art works by each artist.
