District 86 Toastmasters Club Growth Director, Glynis D'souza, DTM, proudly announces the chartering of Oakville Toastmasters Club in Oakville to further the public speaking and leadership skills of members.

Over 250 members across Southwestern, Central & Northern Ontario will gather in Kitchener on April 28 to 30 for workshops, contests, Keynote Speaker Kelly Swanson and to recognize excellence in leadership and communication.

The Members Making A Difference Award is awarded to a District 86 Toastmaster member who volunteer their Toastmasters communication and leadership skills to better the lives of those in their community in a significant and notable way

Cindy Rocca, one of two award recipients, will be celebrated by District 86 Toastmasters for compassionately helping the youth of her community.

In these disposable times it is unusual to find twenty-five years of dedication, consistency and commitment to a singular task or program. Hershaw Toastmasters Member, Ron Kosciolek, a member since 1992 recognized by past and current members.

The Communication and Leadership Award is awarded by the District to a non-Toastmaster in the community who is an outstanding communicator or leader - and who best exemplifies Toastmasters values.
