The Heights Foundation announces that Matt Wallace has been promoted to the position of Director of Projects at the Heights Center, a Cultural Arts and Community Center in the Harlem Heights neighborhood.

Volunteers from Lee Memorial Health System selected the Heights Foundation for a United Way Day of Caring. Twenty five volunteers planted coco plums around the Heights Center’s new medical clinic and started an herb garden for the culinary center.

The Heights Foundation is seeking individuals, businesses, churches and organizations to provide school supplies for the Foundation’s outreach program. The July 26 event provides supplies for nearly 400 low-income children in Harlem Heights .

“Celebrity” waiters will serve up great food and fun at the Heights Foundation’s Rat Pack Dinner hosted by The Roadhouse Cafe on Wednesday, July 31 from 7:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m.
