Beginning next year, Eureka Springs will offer health care coverage to domestic partners of city employees. In 2007 the city first offered domestic partnership registration. It now becomes the first city in Arkansas to offer this coverage.

It started in 1947 and no folk festival in the U.S. has been running continuously longer than the Original Ozark Folk Festival in Eureka Springs, AR. This year will be the 63rd annual event and will bring back the Barefoot Ball by popular demand.
