Romania had hosted the Conference in support of the PLATFORM FOR SECURITY AND COOPERATION IN EUROPE AND ASIA. The Bucharest Conference was the most important strategic and analytic conference in 2012, related to Europe-Asia relation.

The Bucharest conference, organized under the High Patronage of Institute of International Relations and Economic Cooperation, will debate the response that Europe must present to this peace and security initiative on global level.

On 23 May 2012, Romania had hosted, in the splendid venue of Palace of Culture and Education, the Academic and Diplomatic Conference: ROMANIA-KAZAKHSTAN: 20 YEAR OF DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS. A STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP.

2012 is marking the 20 years anniversary of Kazakhstan-Romania diplomatic relations. A significant celebration, keeping in mind that Kazakhstan is today the most important economic and strategic partner of Romania in Central Asia.

Between 23-27 April 2012 in Bucharest will be opened the ASTANA-CAPITAL OF THE FUTURE Exhibition, a cultural event destined to celebrate the tremendous achievements of ASTANA- Kazakhstan`s capital in the Exhibition: ASTANA- CAPITAL OF THE FUTURE.
