EDN - European Documentary Network

The EDN Financing Guide is the most cost effective tool for documentary professionals.

EDN has been granted at 2-year partnership with EU’s Creative Europe for the further development of the two pitching forums, Docs in Thessaloniki and Lisbon Docs. In connection with the two forums, EDN is launching a new outreach initiative.

Filmmakers from all around the world are now invited to submit documentary projects on every aspects of life above the Arctic Circle. The deadline for submitting your project is on November 27, 2014.

EDN – European Documentary Network has just announced three new editions of their EDN Online Pitching Sessions. These sessions are thematic pitchings based on an online videoconference, where a selected number of documentary projects are presented.

EDN has launched two new calendars at the edn.dk web site. The EDN DOCalender provides an overview of international documentary events and The EDN Festival Calendar provides dates and deadlines for documentary festivals.

The EDN Executive Committee has appointed Paul Pauwels as new Director of the organization. The appointment will be effective from May 15 when Pauwels take over the strategic planning and future development of the international documentary network.

EDN has just released the 2012 edition of their essential documentary funding tool The EDN Financing Guide. This year the guide has been expanded with more international broadcasters, funds and distributors as well as an extended version online.
