Families in Society: The Journal of Contemporary Social Services, a top social work journal published by the Alliance for Children and Families, has appointed Dr. Susan E. Mason of Wurzweiler School of Social Work at Yeshiva University, as editor.

Topics in the 2011 spring issue of Families in Society include reconceptualizing theory and practice, clinical methods utilizing client strengths, women's outcomes with risk and trauma, and family functioning and interrelationships.
