I think you should put on the front of your book the statement that it is not impossible to achieve a 1500 pace track in 6 weeks. It took 4 + years to train my Dobermann to sch 3.

It is not a question of what is the correct age for a dog to begin tracking but is more a question of timing and of when the dog shows a certain degree of intensity and commitment in his general behaviour due to drive maturity.
