German American Chamber of Commerce - Colorado

The German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado is establishing a Stammtisch (conversation group) for individuals with an interest in Germany or the German language to gather on Wednesday, March 14, 2012.

Trade mission to Germany forms and registration are now easier with online process according to project manager John Bennett. Some financial assistance is available for participants. Deadline to register is February 15, 2012.

The German American Chamber of Commerce – Colorado will hold a get-to-know-you meeting/Stammtisch for businesses and individuals with an interest in Germany on Saturday, January 21.

Helmut Fricker brings his humor and alphorn to the Denver Christkindl Market performing “A Wandering Minstrel’s Alpine Christmas”

Highlights include a visit from the 2011 Christkindl and performances by the Rocky Mountain Ringers and the TEV Edelweiss Schuhplattler dancers

Festive German Christmas market will continue through December 23rd offering European and artisan gifts, gluehwein, German food and beer, a variety of music and more taking place in Denver's Skyline Park on the 16th Street Mall.

At traditional German Christmas markets the Christkindl (Christmas angel) is an important focal point. The Denver Christkindl Market announces Ms Evi Zillmer as the 2011 Christkindl. She will highlight the grand opening on November 26.

The 11th Annual Denver Christkindl Market opens November 25, 2011, and has entertainment and special events on the program.
