Finnish Open Source software house, Gurux Ltd, has released a new cloud service for controlling remote devices over the Internet. The service can handle any type of devices, and the information is available over the Internet.

Gurux Ltd released an Open Source, easy-to-use, solution for automatic meter reading, for DLMS/COSEM protocol, which is widely used with meters for consumption of, i.e. electricity and water.

With Data Refinery by Gurux Ltd, you can easily gather data directly from physical devices, process the data according to your own definitions, and display the results the way you need. Gurux Data Refinery is an Open Source application.

Finnish software producer, Gurux Ltd, invites all people, interested in device communication, to join in the new web community.

Gurux Ltd goes Open Source on 30th September 2009, meaning that all Gurux software will be available to use and develop without license fees. The main goal of going Open Source is to reach a vaster group of users, and thereby get more user feedback.
