Sandy’s Elves Workshop, a community group created to help victims of super-storm Sandy, have selected HABcore Inc. residents in Monmouth and Ocean counties to receive gifts, decorations and Christmas trees this holiday season.

HABcore Inc.’s Associate Director, Katie Maier, received this year’s Supportive Housing Association (SHA) of New Jersey Direct Support Staff Person Award on December 7, 2012 at The Pines Manor in Edison.

HABcore, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that provides housing for the homeless, held its 15th annual gala at McLoone’s Rum Runner in Sea Bright. Distinguished guests included NJ State Senator Jennifer Beck and Red Bank Mayor Pasquale Menna.
