The Hong Kong Polytechnic University

With the support of 19 prominent leaders from the academia, professional communities and the business sector, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University has set up a high-level International Advisory Board (IAB) to further promote internationalisation.

Working in collaboration with industry partners, researchers of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) have successfully developed a Solar-powered Air-conditioning System for vehicles and completed a series of testing on the road.

PolyU is proud to have two young graduates in a row elected for the "Ten Outstanding Young Persons" for two consecutive years. This year the honour went to Mr Lau Hiu-fung, who has been suffering from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy since the age of 8.
