Fashion Revolution Day is an international response to the Rana Plaza collapse in Dhaka, Bangladesh, a catastrophe with a death toll of 1,133. The Fashion Revolution campaign has gained significant interest worldwide, most prominently in Western Europe.

The Highland Support Project celebrates its 20th anniversary and the end of the Maya 13-bak'tun cycle with festivities at local fair trade store AlterNatives in Richmond, Virginia.

Maya elder to visit the Pace Center in Richmond, Virginia, on November 7th at 7pm to discuss the end of the Maya Long-Count calendar and to alleviate fears associated with December 21, 2012 and the rumors that it mars the end of the world.
