The life sciences company Entegrion has received a two-year $8.2 million research and development contract from the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for continuing development of a method for aseptic production of dried human plasma for transfusion.

Tamara Cox Baker, Lynne Smyers, and Karen Bonardi have formed a new communications partnership called Hatch providing a blend of traditional and new communications including public relations, branding, graphic design, and business development.
