Hillsborough Gallery of Arts

Hillsborough, NC - Beginning April 26 through May 27th, the Hillsborough Gallery will feature three of its member artists in a new show titled "Elemental: Metal, Woods & Water."

Artfully altered shoes and compelling composite legs, among other works dedicated to the theme “Walkable Hillsborough,” will debut at the Hillsborough Gallery’s new group show, which runs from March 21 – April 24.

The Hillsborough Gallery's first group show of the New Year – “12 x 12 by 21” – features small works by each of the gallery’s 21 members, showcasing pieces that fit the dimensions of 12 inches by 12 inches, and includes 3 dimensional art.

The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts is hosting a benefit gala to raise money for the North Carolina Symphony on Thursday, February 25th, from 6-9 p.m. All proceeds plus ten percent of sales during the fundraiser will go to the symphony.

The Hillsborough Gallery of Arts, an artist-owned and operated fine arts gallery, has expanded into adjacent space and has a new storefront at 121 N. Churton Street.

Exploring Color and Light: Recent Paintings by Peg Bachenheimer and Lolette Guthrie opens the last week of August at the Hillsborough Gallery of Arts. The show pairs two painters whose work captures the light and color in nature.
