Mr. Hughes has been invited to speak at the inaugural Women Grow of Bend on May 7, 2015.

The Court accepted the continuance for dismissal petition presented by Angela Brown and her representative attorney, Michael Hughes. Mrs. Brown has not pled guilty, and the state agreed to dismiss the case.

Angela Brown is the Minnesota mom who was charged with child endangerment for giving her son cannabis oil to treat his traumatic brain injury. Attorney Hughes expects charges to be dismissed.

In the Angela Brown case, the court has dismissed the first count and ruled that the second count has probable cause. Count 2 will be tried at a later date.

Michael R. Hughes, Angela Brown’s attorney, has filed a response to the government’s brief in opposition to the motion to dismiss.
