To help Ottawa’s nearly 1750 knowledge-based businesses maximize their innovation processes; Invest Ottawa has opened a corporate Innovation Clinic.

Ottawa’s business and community leaders say Ottawa has all the attributes to be the country’s leading Smart Community and sustain its prosperity in a global economy based on innovation.

In a ceremony at the International Economic Development Council (IEDC), held in Anchorage, Alaska Tuesday night, the city of Ottawa was awarded the title of most “Business Friendly” mid-sized city in North and South America.
