Modern Skate will be looking to crown the Michigan amateur champion in Skateboard, Aggressive Inline Skating and BMX. The MASKS skateboarding, BMX and Inline with a qualifying contest series ending with an invite only final at Modern Skate Park.

Modern Skate is hosting its annual Halloween Lock-In on Friday, Oct. 26 from 10 p.m. to 9 a.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to stay the night at the park. For members, this event costs only $35. For non-members, $40. Doors open at 9:30 p.m.

Thousands of skating fans will be gathering to watch the Modern Skate and Surf’s Extreme Team in action at 11th annual Summertime Motocross festival, Baja Brawl! The four-day event begins on Friday, Aug. 31 and ends on Monday, Sept. 3.

Motor City Project, 94.7 WCSX and Ice Nine Group came together today, Aug. 16, for the Stone Soup Startup. The event featured the custom 1969 575-horsepower Boss Mustang, which will be raffled to raise money for the Beaumont Children’s Hospital.

With help from Motor City Project, owners and enthusiasts of everything from Mustangs and Hot Rods to custom motorcycles and sport cars, will be gathering at Roosevelt Park in Detroit, Mich.
